ENDODONTICS
Endodontics, also known as root canal treatment, is a dental procedure performed to save a severely damaged or infected tooth. This treatment involves removing the damaged or infected dental pulp, cleaning and disinfecting the inside space of the tooth, and then filling and sealing it.
When is it necessary?
Endodontics is necessary when the dental pulp is damaged due to:

• Endo-Periodontal injuries
Endodontics procedure:
• Diagnosis: The dentist performs a clinical and radiographic examination to assess the condition of the tooth. • Anesthesia: Local anesthesia is applied to prevent pain during the procedure. • Incision: Opening is made in the crown of the tooth to access the pulp. • Cleaning and Disinfection: The damaged pulp is removed, and the root canals are cleaned. • Filling and Sealing: The canals are filled with an inert material, and the tooth is sealed.
